Ivy Ang is the Consulting Director of BTI Consultants in Singapore. In her current role, she leads searches for regional leaders and executives in key functions, and oversees operations of the Singapore office.
Ivy's specialization is primarily in the Healthcare and Life Sciences Practices. She also has extensive search experience in Consumer, IT and Industrial sectors in Asia Pacific and Japan. She pioneered the Life Science Business for one the leading recruitment firm in Japan and lived in Tokyo for 10 years before coming to Singapore.
She has been actively involved in community and charity work in the Philippines, supporting projects involving street children, home for the aged, leprosy and mentally disabled patients. She is interested in cultural diversity and understanding the various countries in the Asia Pacific region. She also has a keen interest in North Asia having lived in that part of the world for many years.
Ivy holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Studies from De La Salle University, Philippines. She was a recipient of the Japanese Government Scholarship (Monbusho) in 1996 and completed a Japanese Language Course in Waseda University (Tokyo Japan). Successively, she was also a recipient of the AIEJ Scholarship to complete a research course for her MBA degree in Kokushikan University (Tokyo Japan) in 1999.
Ivy speaks Japanese, Mandarin, Hokkien Dialect and Tagalog fluently.
